Early Life
Sunil Grover was born on August 3, 1977, in the small town of Mandi Dabwali, Sirsa district, Haryana. His father, J. N. Grover, is a banker, while his mother, Raj Rani, is a homemaker. Some sources says that his father worked in the Punjab tourism department. He has a sister, Ritu Grover, and no brothers. He completed his schooling at Arya Vidya Mandir, Mandi Dabwali, Sirsa. Raised in a middle-class Punjabi family, Sunil developed an interest in performance early on. His childhood in Sirsa involved participating in school plays and mimicking Hindi film stars.
He went on to pursue a Bachelor of Commerce degree at G. G. D. S. D. College, Chandigarh. His passion for the performing arts led him to obtain a Master’s in Theatre from Panjab University, Chandigarh.
