Early Life
Aamna Sharif was born on July 16, 1982, in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She comes from a diverse background. Her father was Indian, and her mother Rahima Sharif has Persian-Bahraini roots. She lost her father when she was onlu 10. She grew up in a conservative Muslim family in Mumbai. Her childhood included watching Madhuri Dixit’s films, sparking her interest in acting by age six.
Aamna attended St. Anne’s High School in Bandra, Mumbai. She then went to RD and SH National College and SWA Science College, Mumbai. She began receiving modeling offers during her college years, working with brands like Close-Up Toothpaste and Emami Cosmetic Cream. It marked the start of her journey in the entertainment industry.
Breakthrough

In 2009, Aamna made her film debut with Robbie Grewal’s romantic comedy “Aloo Chaat,” opposite Aftab Shivdasani. Aamna returned to TV with “Hongey Judaa Na Hum” as Muskan, a wife rediscovering love post-accident. She played Komolika Chaubey Basu in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 (2019-2020). She played a cunning antagonist, replacing Hina Khan, adding a bold edge to her career.
