Ab Dilli Dur Nahin, a film directed by Amar Kumar and written by Rajinder Singh Bedi and Muhafiz Hyder. The film was produced by Raj Kapoor and starred Yakub, Anwar Hussain, Motilal, Nand Kishore, Jagdeep, and, in very minor role, Amjad Khan. The music for Ab Dilli Dur Nahin was composed by Dattaram, the lyrics penned by Shailendra and Hasrat Jaipuri, The album includes the popular song “Chun Chun Karti Aayi Chidiya,” sung by Mohd Rafi.

It follows a young boy in 1951 who travels to Delhi, wanting to meet Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru to seek justice for his father, who has been wrongly sentenced to death.

New Delhi Times is a political thriller film directed by Ramesh Sharma and written by Gulzar, starring Shashi Kapoor, Sharmila Tagore, Om Puri and Kulbhushan Kharbanda in lead roles. The film is about a newspaper editor who exposes the political-media corruption nexus.
The political drama film, with a controversial storyline about political corruption and media, ran into trouble when film distributors and television refused to run the film, though later it went on to win three National Film Awards.

New Delhi (1987)

New Delhi is a 1987 Malayalam language neo-noir action thriller film written by Dennis Joseph and directed by Joshiy and produced by Joy Thomas. It stars Mammootty, Suresh Gopi, Thiagarajan, Sumalatha, Urvashi, & Siddique.
The film was remade and released in Telugu as Anthima Theerpu, which was directed by Joshiy himself. Joshiy also directed the Hindi and Kannada versions titled New Delhi. Lead roles were played by Jeetendra in its Hindi version and Ambareesh in the Kannada version, respectively.

Delhi-6 is a 2009 Indian Hindi-language drama film directed by Rakesh Omprakash Mehra. The film stars Abhishek Bachchan as an NRI who arrives in India with his ailing grandmother (played by Waheeda Rehman) and begins discovering his roots before getting embroiled in a religious dispute involving a mysterious monkey-like attacker. The film co-stars Sonam Kapoor, Aditi Rao Hydari, Rishi Kapoor, Supriya Pathak, Atul Kulkarni, Pavan Malhotra, Deepak Dobriyal, Divya Dutta, Vijay Raaz and Om Puri.
