Malika-e-Tarannum Noor Jehan

Noor Jehan, the melody queen who captivated millions of music lovers in the subcontinent for over half a century, passed away in Karachi on December 23, 2000.

Dilip Kumar was a star sruck fan of her and so was the great Lata Ji who adored and respected her as a guru and elder sister. From Mehboob khan, KL Sehgal, Naushad Saab to Rafi Saab and even Indira Gandhi were a fan of Madam Noor Jehan.

The remarkable journey from a child artist, Baby Noor Jehan, to Malika-e-Tarannum is a teastament to the extraordinary musical genius. No one from the subcontinent in the 20th century reached the towering heights of name and fame achieved by Noor Jehan, the nightingale of Punjab. She revolutionized the world of popular music and breathed new life into Punjabi folk songs.

when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type area specimen book It has survived not only five centuries.but also the leap introduce electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.
