Sudha Malhotra, born on 30 November 1936 in Delhi was a acomplished playback singer. She achieved fame in a noticeably short time. The songs sung by her in the 1950s and 1960s such as ‘Arzoo’, ‘Dhool Ka Phool’, ‘Didi’, ‘Kala Pani’, ‘Barsaat Ki Raat’, ‘Ab Dilli Door Nahi’ and ‘Ab Dilli Door Nahi’ are still loved by the audience.
